Welcome to Chad
Teacher- Mrs Kellegher
Teaching Assistant- Mrs Sammons
If you would like to see what Chad got up to during 2019-20 follow this link:
Hello Chad. What a shame we cannot all be together at the moment. However, we will be able to see each other every day on our Google Classroom for our live lessons. Be sure to login every day and I look forward to seeing you then.
Don't worry if you cannot access the Classroom for the live lesson, it will be recorded for you to view when you can. Any problems please let Mrs Kellegher know on email@example.com.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
VALUES & VIRTUES- Jesuit Pupil Profile
Please see the links below for extra information about the Values and Virtues that we focus on each half-term.
THE GOD WHO SPEAKS
Each half term we focus on a different scripture reading. This reading will then be looked at in detail and we learn more about what it means, why it is important and how we can relate it to our lives.
'In the beginning the Word already existed the Word was with God, and the Word was God' John 1:1
EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK
School Council Hustings
Covid-19 has not stopped democracy at St Benedict's! Those members of Chad who want to be the leaders of the School Council have produced election videos to canvas the rest of the school for their support. We await the returns from each class before we can make the announcement of the winner.
Mass- New Beginnings
This week we celebrated Mass. Thank you to Father Paul for leading us in prayer about our theme of New Beginnings. We were very reverent during mass and very confident in our responses. Before Mass we all wrote a prayer linked to the theme and used these in our private prayer time.
HOMEWORK & HOMELEARNING
Welcome Chad 2020-2021
We're looking forward to seeing you all again. We're starting our Greece topic this week- there's exciting things planned- art, design and technology and we can't wait to start reading our new class book called 'The Girl of Ink and Stars' together. As you all know we love maths in Chad as well and we're looking forward to sharing our favourite maths games with you.
See you soon
