Welcome to Maryvale!
Teachers- Mrs Williams and Mrs R. Wood
Teaching Assistant- Mrs Taylor (pm)
Hello to our Maryvale students and your families.
We cannot believe that we have reached the final term of the school year already! We have just celebrated Easter and are entering into our favourite time of the year when hopefully the sun will shine for us as we are able to celebrate our learning together again in our lovely Maryvale family group. Most excitingly; some members of Maryvale are receiving their blessed sacrament of First Holy Communion during this half term. So, as we prepare together we pray for our friends and their families at this very special time.
We look forward to treasuring the memories we will make in this summer term and watch with anticipation and pride as you all grow and mature in preparation for your journey into year 5! We have so much learning to do and fun to enjoy! Soooooooooo happy to be back together again as we should be.
Take good care, keep safe and remember that "IN LOVE WE LEARN, IN FAITH WE GROW!"

Please see the links below for extra information about the Values and Virtues that we focus on each half-term.
THE GOD WHO SPEAKS
Each half term we focus on a different scripture reading. This reading will then be looked at in detail and we learn more about what it means, why it is important and how we can relate it to our lives.
'In the beginning the Word already existed the Word was with God, and the Word was God' John 1:1
EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK
It is a great privilege for our class to be named Maryvale. This Holy place in the Diocese of Birmingham has a special place in our hearts and prayers. A place of training for a vocation of spreading the word of the Lord. Our own former Parish Priest, Father Paul Watson spent many years as director of Maryvale which strengthens and personalises our link with the institute in a most spiritual and special way. Our own class prayer is the Prayer of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which has a special place in daily prayer and collective worship. Our table names are Oscott, Bridgettine, Newman and Sacred Heart which are important names and places linked to Maryvale.
