Welcome back Harvington
We hope you all had a lovely Holy Easter break and are looking forward to the Summer term. We have lots of exciting things happening
Our new quality text book is called 'The King of Space', our shared reading book is called 'The Winter Cave' and our class reader is called 'The Creakers'.
PE is on Monday and Tuesday, so don't forget to come in your school PE kits on those days.
Some of our children will be taking their First Holy Communion who we will all be supporting and keeping in our prayers.
Keep smiling and shining.
Mrs Parker, Mrs Haywood and Miss Taylor.
Hello Harvington. What a shame we cannot all be together at the moment. However, we will be able to see each other every day on our Google Classroom for our live lessons. Be sure to login every day and I look forward to seeing you then.
Don't worry if you cannot access the Classroom for the live lesson, it will be recorded for you to view when you can. Any problems please let Mrs Parker know on firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
VALUES & VIRTUES- Jesuit Pupil Profile
Please see the links below for extra information about the Values and Virtues that we focus on each half-term.
THE GOD WHO SPEAKS
Each half term we focus on a different scripture reading. This reading will then be looked at in detail and we learn more about what it means, why it is important and how we can relate it to our lives.
'In the beginning the Word already existed the Word was with God, and the Word was God' John 1:1
EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK
What a week!
We have had a lovely week in Harvington this week.
We found out all about Harvington Hall and were very excited to hear about the Priest hides.
We read the story called 'Dear Teacher' and did a lot of writing using adjectives, capital letters and full stops. We are trying really hard to improve our handwriting and our grammar.
We read the first chapter of 'Stig' and talked about what we already know about Stone Age.
For our Science Topic, we went for a walk around the school investigating different rocks, their properties and what they are used for.
Harvington we are so proud of how you have settled.
Scripture Reading - New Beginnings:
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
