Trim Trail

Our new trim trail includes the following activities: Climbing Wall, Stepping Trees, Swinging Logs with rubber step posts, Wobble Walkway with rubber step posts and a Balance Weaver and surrounding the trim trail is a carpet of all weather olive green surfacing. All of us at St.Benedict’s hope that this trim trail shall still be on the playground in many years to come for future children that come to this school who will be able to have the privilege to be able to play on this equipment.

When Monday morning arrived there was a queue from one end of the play ground to the other—well not quite!!! The trim trail is immensely popular with all of the children, in years three to  six; each child takes it in turns to have their go on the new equipment, across the Climbing Wall, onto the Stepping Trees and then onto all of the other small activities. This is an easy and fun way for all of KEY STAGE TWO to increase their daily exercise while they are also having a lot of fun!
Although the queue may be very long the children still seem to think the wait is worth while!
