Year 6 Gardening Project

Year 6 planted tulip and daffodil bulbs to promote growing and gardening to children attending St.Benedict’s. They planted 100 tulips and 50 daffodils in the form of a semi circle. Within the semi circle there are two triangles with daffodils in them. In addition there are many other shapes filled with a wide variety of different species of tulips. This project will not only inspire children to be eco-friendly as it will improve the environment within the school and be attractive for the people who live in the houses next to our school. All the children in KS2 have been involved in planting bulbs around the school and we are looking forward to seeing the flowers bloom in the spring
