Our trip to the Space Centre
For the first time, our whole school went on the same school trip! The whole school was learning about space and all the adventures that happened in it. For the whole school it was an exiting and interesting topic and none of us could wait until the trip to the space centre in Leicester.
As soon as we arrived Class 5 were taken to the workshop to do ‘Fizzy science’. We were in groups and we had to make three rockets. Deciding what test to do wasn’t hard and we knew straight away we wanted to investigate surface area. The tests went splendidly and everyone enjoyed them.
Next we had to rush off to the planetarium to watch the interactive show. It was great and everyone found pleasure out of it. When we were asked the questions it was so exciting and clever as it was like being on who wants to be a millionaire. We learnt lots about each planet and their moons.
Next we looked around the galleries and soon we found the tranquility base. Our favorite thing was the rocket tower which was where we learnt loads.
