Today we met Warwick Bear!  He told us how to keep safe when we are near roads.  We have to Think, Stop, Look and Listen.

We have been to the cinema to watch 'Despicable Me 3'.  We had great fun and loved going on a coach.

In the moment...

The children wanted to play shops.  They set up their own shop and decorated it with string.  We then decided to make our shop even better!  The children wrote their own labels using their phonetic knowledge. Check out our shop!!!!

We went hunting for sticks in our forest area.  We have been thinking about all the games and activities we can play with sticks based on our class story 'Stanley's Stick' by J Hegley.

Pumpkin Soup Making

Ivy's family donated five pumpkins to Nursia Class.  We decided to make pumpkin soup!  We cut open the pumpkins and found lots of seeds and stringy bits.  We cut up the pumpkins and looked closely at the other ingredients we needed to make the soup - seasoning, potatoes and cream.  We loved eating the soup. Delicious!

Harvest Time - Butter Making

The children were really interested in learning about where their food comes from.  They asked about milk and cheese, so we learnt about how farmers milk cows.  Holly asked where butter came from and how it was made.  So, the next day we made our own butter from shaking cream.  We used it to make our own snack of toast, butter and jam.  Yummy!

We met our prayer friends from Chad class. We were so excited!
